Os Empire Of The Sun são um duo australiano que tem causado furor em ambos lados do Atlântico, com um som que deve tanto à freak pop dos MGMT como à electrónica dançável dos Hot Chip. Com um nome desses (que parece que foi inspirado no filme de Steven Spielberg), estava-se mesmo a ver que o primeiro clipe tinha de ser filmado no Império do Sol Nascente.

Bebé da capa do Nevermind dos Nirvana

Ele não fez nada para aparecer numa das mais famosas capas de discos de todos os tempos, mas acabou por se tornar numa mini-celebridade.

Spencer Elden, o rapaz americano que aos três meses foi fotografado para a capa de Nevermind , dos Nirvana, tem agora 17 anos e um estranho estatuto : “anônimo famoso”.

“É assustador que tantas pessoas me tenham visto nu”, afirmou Spencer Elden em entrevista à MTV. “Sinto-me a maior estrela pornô do mundo!”.
De acordo com o jornal Público, pela aparição na capa de Nevermind Spencer Elden recebeu 200 dólares, um disco de platina como recordação e um urso de peluche.

O bebé “apareceu” na ícone capa de forma acidental: os seus pais eram amigos do fotógrafo que trabalhava com os Nirvana na época, Kirk Weddle.

“Você quer conseguirr 200 dólares e atirar o teu guri na água?”, sugeriu o fotógrafo ao pai do bebé. A criança foi então fotografada debaixo de água (a nota e o anzol foram colocados na imagem posteriormente) e os pais de Spencer Elden só perceberam o uso que tinha sido dado à foto quando, três meses depois, viram o filho num grande cartaz.

Em 1994, Kurt Cobain e Courtney Love afirmaram que gostariam de convidar o bebé de Nevermind para jantar, quando ele fosse mais velho - plano inviabilizado pela morte do líder dos Nirvana, meses mais tarde.

Pneumoultramicroscopicossilicovulcanoconiótico, que define uma pessoa acometida por uma doença pulmonar causada pela aspiração de cinzas vulcânicas, chamada pneumoultramicroscopicossilicovulcanoconiose ou pneumoconiose.
